Ethnic Rhinoplasty – Orange County | Newport Beach
Ethnic rhinoplasty is an advanced approach to the rhinoplasty procedure for patients of African, East Asian, Middle Eastern and Hispanic descent. As the contours and structures vary, ethnic rhinoplasty is designed to achieve beautiful nasal contours that also preserve the ethnic look and feel of your facial structure. Ethnic rhinoplasty differs from standard rhinoplasty because it requires special attention and care to patients’ unique nasal structures and surrounding facial features. Dr. Sajjadian can reshape and contour the nose while preserving ethnic attributes that contribute to the overall look of the face. Dr. Sajjadian is one of very few surgeons in the Orange County / Inland Empire area who performs ethnic rhinoplasty.
During an ethnic rhinoplasty procedure, patients often need cartilage grafting to enhance a previously flat profile. Dr. Sajjadian extracts the cartilage from the nose when possible, or extracts the cartilage from another area of the body. In some instances, Dr. Sajjadian will use nasal implants to enhance the bridge of the nose and provide better nasal definition. In addition, some patients require an in-depth nasal tip reshaping to reduce large, overly bulbous nose tips. For others, the dorsal hump may have small pieces of bone and cartilage removed to enhance the patients’ profile. Regardless of the changes needed, Dr. Sajjadian has the experience and skill necessary to create a natural looking, beautiful profile that also protects the natural ethnic attributes of the nose.
Dr. Sajjadian works to understand your needs and designs a personalized plan of action to address your desired outcome. By understanding the overall desired outcome and expectations of the procedure, he can make recommendations of additional procedures to best deliver the desired results. Following the procedure, Dr. Sajjadian also offers comprehensive care throughout the recovery process for an ethnic rhinoplasty, to ensure that the results look natural and meet your expectations.
