Dr. Sajjadian will use a numbing agent prior to Botox injections to enhance patient comfort during the procedure.  Once the area is numb, Dr. Sajjadian will use a small needle to inject Botox into different muscles in your face that are causing the unwanted lines and wrinkles.

Keep in mind that there are 43 muscles in the face, and it is vital that the surgeon performing your Botox injections understands and pinpoints the correct muscles.  By understanding the facial structure, Dr. Sajjadian can pinpoint the muscles of the face that are causing the unwanted wrinkles.  By carefully targeting specific muscles in the face, Dr. Sajjadian will weaken only the muscles causing the wrinkles, preserving your natural facial expressions.

Being that Botox is a minimally invasive procedure, there is no down time, or recovery time for this procedure, and the results can typically be seen within a few days.  Botox is a temporary treatment, and results typically last 3-4 months following the procedure.  Once the Botox begins to wear off, your facial muscles will regain strength, and follow-up Botox procedures will be necessary to produce the rejuvenated look.
