Dr. Sajjadian’s facial implants address the third component of overall appearance. If the structure of your face is disproportionate of undefined, it can greatly influence the overall appearance of your face. If you are unhappy with the overall structure and contour of your face, this procedure can make a significant difference by manipulating the underlying bone structure with implants.

Facial implants can create symmetry and contour where it may have previously been absent. The two most common facial implants are chin and cheek implants. Both procedures offer minimal visible scarring by making incisions inside the mouth. Facial implants can have an immediate impact on the overall contour and symmetry of your face, making you more confident with your appearance.

Chin Implant-

Chin implants are generally done through incisions within the mouth at the base of the lower lip,to reduce visible scarring. In some cases, incisions may be made at the base of the chin, depending on the placement of the implant. A chin implant will increase the size and projection of the face to match that of the forehead and mid-face. Often paired with rhinoplasty, this procedure will create an equally proportioned facial structure.

Cheek Implant-

Cheek implants are typically inserted through the mouth to reduce visible scarring, but incisions depend on actual placement of the implant. In some cases, incisions will be made in the lower eye-lid region or in the hairline. Any of the 3 incision points will be made to reduce visible scarring from a cheek implant. Cheek implants are designed to add volume and increase the prominence of cheek bones, where the cheeks were previously flat or recessed.
